 LET'S MEET IN THE HEART OF A CHILD

Short Description: In our project, our students meet and get acquainted with Edmondo De Amicis' Child Heart. The aim of the project is to read together, share and be happy. With our project, we  encourage our students to read in their mother tongue and improve their reading, comprehension and self-expression skills. We support the fields of emotional and social development with universal values ​​by developing creative thinking, cooperation and communication skills with different types of thinking activities and web 2 studies.

OBJECTIVES: With this project, we aim for our students to start learning their mother tongue proficiency, communication and cooperation, creative thinking, sharing their feelings and thoughts about what they read, and learning not only lessons but also life at school. With Web 2 tools, we make lessons fun.

WORKING PROCESS: Our project will be carried out between 01September2021and 01 February2022 with monthly work and activities.The Child Heart book will be read together with all students in the classroom, at home, a class diary, project board, mascot will be created and decisions will be made together with the students during the fun activities with web 2 tools.Poetry, story, painting works will be combined with creative thinking and imagination.

 September:Meeting with the project partners, creating the project pages, obtaining parent meetings and parent permission documents, creating the project logo and posters, determining the monthly events and web2 tools to be held with the project partners, applying the pre-test,In October-January, the project plan determined together with the project partners will be implemented, the activities will be carried out simultaneously and added to the project page, and the promotion of the project will be expanded.January: Project closing activities, evaluation of our project, exhibition of the works and common products throughout the project, and creation of an e-book are planned.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

- Develops  native language competencies by doing by living

Our students both have fun and learn.

- Awareness about universal values ​​and different cultures is provided.

- Develops creative thinking and digital competencies.

They learn to look at life situations from a different perspective.

-Students learn about safer internet use.
